January of 2019 marked the construction kick-off of four new building additions and the renovation of the existing Fire & Rescue Station #20 in Leesburg. The 4 million dollar project is scheduled for a May, 2020 completion. The work on the 17,000 square foot facility is phased so that the fire station can remain in operation during the construction.
